Alex Mauer
Alex Mauer was born to Paddle and surf river waves. At the age of 12 he started experimenting on different waves and exploring the possibilities of what could be done on them. After standing on his first wave in Golden Colorado he started to pioneer the surf scene in Colorado. Soon after he tried Stand up Paddle, he helped pioneer the race scene. Over the past few years Alex has quickly grown his reputation as one of Colorado's fastest flat water racers and whitewater paddler/river surfer. He spends all his spare time on the water giving lessons, sharing stoke technique, and race technique with anyone who is eager to learn. He loves sharing this sport with new people and seeing the joy it brings them!
